I stay here when I come to visit and the rooms are clean. More like what you get with a three star hotel. I love staying here and they also have breakfast.
Wonder. Nice rooms and great location. You have well known stores like Walmart, Dollar Tree, Pizza Hut and plenty others less than 3 minutes down the road. At check in the young lady went out her way to make us comfortable. Well worth me cost. Only issue was shower head could not be adjusted for a none tall person.
I have been staying in this hotel since the 90's. We stay here because it's the closest hotel when we visit our family in Huntington, Camden, McKenzie, and surrounding areas. The rooms were always clean and inviting and the staff was always great. But a few days ago we checked in and found bedbugs not just one but a bunch. We reported to the staff who seemed like it wasn't a big deal and offered us another room we politely declined and went elsewhere.
They were great to me! They had my room ready when I got there and asked if there was anything else they could do for me. Greeted me when I came for breakfast. They were very nice felt like you were staying at a friend's house. Was great. UPDATING: Stayed at this place again for 5 days this time. It was a late booking and they were very busy only had 2 rooms available which were both smoking rooms. I needed a room so had no problem taking the smoking room. They offered to switch it out the next day if I wasn't happy with it (it was fine). They were very helpful and made sure I was happy. On Monday night (Memorial day) I was out all day/night and when I came back to the room I couldn't get in. I had to call the front desk for 30 minutes before someone answered she came right out and let me in and gave me a new key. It was midnight so I understood. They are a great group of people and would recommend this place to anyone staying in the area. Sweetest front desk manager who makes you feel so welcomed.
This hotel is absolutely horrible! They are infested with bed bugs! In a recent stay with my family at their location. We discovered bed bugs in our linen! We informed he front desk staff of this issue. They claimed it was their first time hearing of bugs in the rooms. Well based on prior reviews that we later discovered they were not being truthful! We left the Bugtel immediately. They also, proceeded to charge us for one night! Don’t stay at this location!
