The barbecue at Max is really good the service is great and delicious food
Big Max has some of the best bbq you will find anywhere! This is real pit bbq! The pulled pork is juicy, smokey, and delicious. Their ribs and chicken are also really good! Their plates are huge with all the meat and sides you get with it you will have to share or bring some home for lunch the next day. If you are in Huntingdon or traveling nearby you must stop here to have a sandwich or platter. Oh and their homemade pies are delicious. My favorite is the Chocolate Meringue. They do catering or large orders but call in advance!

I moved to McKenzie in Feb 2017. I hadn't found a bbq place that I liked until I went to Big Max BBQ. The bbq pork is awesome. The prices are good too. Definitely recommend this place. On Google, it says they are closed on Mondays. They are actually open until 2pm.
