The ONLY Sonic Drive-In with a DINNER. This restaurant is still great, with good food, and polite service workers.
This is a toaster bacon sandwich and it's like this on both sides when got home not even toasted just soggy butter bread
The food is usually on point. But they tend to mix up a lot. EX: I order a large meal, I get a medium. Their night staff is also very poorly trained. Tonight I order a burger with no onions, thought there was onions on it so I called and asked "does #3 come with whole or chopped onions" she replied "chopped" so I explained that I though they put onions on my burger and she gave the phone to the manager. (At this point I. The conversation my hubby discovered a hair in his tots, but once I said something and the manager seemed annoyed my husband told me to tell them not to worry about it cause he was afraid they would tamper with his food) so I continued to chat with the manager about my burger, he said he would put me on the books. I asked why he couldn't replace my supper now and he said "we are about to close" so I explained I lived very close and this was MY SUPPER. So he sighed and agreed I could come get a new burger. Once I got there I apologized for being an inconvenience and explained my concern. He then told me "ma'am #3 does not come with onions" (why tf didn't the staff know this and tell me? would have solved the whole issue.) so I said "omg I am so so so sorry, the lady on the phone said it came with chopped onions" and his reply was " it doesn't" like it was all my fault. Then handed me the remade burger and walked away. (Please keep in mind never once did he acknowledge the HAIR in the chili cheese tots!)
I go here often .Usually pretty good .Food today was good.yet, the young man taking my order messed it up while ordering. Finally got the order right on the screen. I should have known to check order. I live about 15 miles away so I did not go back. They charged me for two 5 piece chicken dinners #11. I only got (2)3 piece dinners. I had to wait 7 minutes for the chicken you would have thought they would have gotten the order right. They owe 4.00. I will never get it back.
Taste pretty good for the most part,sometimes the burger doesn't taste fresh ,sorta like it was heated up in a microwave ..which is awful cause the bread turns to rubber.
